You First Services, Inc. is currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer for the Sterilization & Disinfection group. This is for an immediate and long-term growth employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Capable of using 3D modeling software (preferably Inventor) from conceptual design to final production assemblies including detail drawings.

• Designing piping systems for blowers and vacuum pumps.

• Work with Sr. Engineers in sizing/selecting major components like blowers, Hx, pumps (vacuum or liquid), and transmitters.

• Perform calculations for stress (FEA), deflection, heat transfer (thermal growth), flow, and pressure.

• Must have a good understanding of mechanical design principles, BOM, GD&T, and good manufacturing practice.

• Review/check drawings submitted by drafting group.

• Detail oriented individual capable of writing manufacturing work instructions and procedures.

• Perform tests on product lines.

• Capable of working on the production floor in building units.

• Improve existing designs with cost effective solutions.

• Must be able to communicate well with project managers, senior engineers, vendors, electricians, and customers in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology degree required.

• Good understanding of proper drafting techniques.

• Understanding design and manufacturing principles.

• Fluent in using 3D software (Inventor) for design and detail drawings.

• FEA and CFD experience desired.

• Efficient with MS Office programs.

• Professional employee capable of managing multiple projects at once to meet timelines (do what it takes to meet deadlines).
